L.Bold FM receives Ambassadors

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On Tuesday, the Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Bold met with the Concurrent Non-Resident Ambassadors of Australia, Pakistan and Bangladesh. The Minister and the Ambassador of Australia Mr William Peterson exchanged views on a present situation of the Mongolia-Australia cooperation in the politics, economics, investment, culture and scientific sectors. Mr Bold noted that Australia opened last year its General Consulate in Mongolia, and it means that the bilateral relations have been widening and been opening new opportunities to cooperate. The Islamic Republic of Pakistan is an important partner of Mongolia in Asia-Pacific region, said Mr Bold at the meeting with Mr Masud Halid, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Mongolia. Mongolia aspires to expand the cooperation with Pakistan in spheres of investment, agriculture, education, science and technology and to boost the collaboration in the private sector, he said. The Foreign Minister congratulated Mr Muhammad Azizul Hakue on becoming the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Mongolia. He emphasized that Mongolia wants to widen the cooperation with this country in the economics, trade, investment sectors and other fields in accordance with a partnership principle.
