L.BOLD MEETS WITH DEFENSE MINISTER OF SOUTH KOREA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In frames of his official visit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Mr L.Bold Wednesday held a meeting with Mr Kim Kwan-jin, the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Korea. "We met in 2011 when You were the Minister of Defense of Mongolia," Mr Kim recalled and said the bilateral ties and cooperation in the defense have been widening since then. It can be proved by the fact that a quota of Mongolian military staffers studying in South Korea have increased twice, the two countries have been successfully cooperating in supplying military facilities to Mongolia for peacekeeping operations and co-participating in international peacekeeping trainings and exercises, he said.
