Lebanese MP: Proportionality under arms cannot pass

NNA - MP Jean Ogassapian told Free Lebanon radio on Saturday that the recent speech of Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah, whereby he said that he was not concerned about domestic matters but regional ones, was very dangerous. "We will see if the Lebanese regime, Constitution and equity continue and if Lebanon's geographical borders remain the same." Concerning the proportional electoral law, the MP said it could not pass in Parliament as long as the reign of illegal arms continued to rule in specific areas.
