Lebanon to participate in NAM summit at highest level

TEHRAN,Aug.10(MN) – Lebanon’s embassy in Tehran has announced that President Michel Suleiman, at the head of a high-ranking delegation, will participate in the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit in Tehran. The XVI Summit of the NAM is scheduled to be held in Tehran from August 26 to 31. Suleiman’s decision to attend the summit was announced after the secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Saeed Jalili, paid a visit to Beirut and met with Suleiman and other high-ranking officials of the country on Monday.
