Loyalty to Resistance Bloc: No qualitative reform except through electoral law based on proportionality

NNA - Loyalty to Resistance Bloc said that there could be no qualitative reform except through adopting an electoral law based on the proportional system of representation and on taking Lebanon as one electoral zone or a number of wide zones. The bloc on Thursday convened in the context of its regular weekly meeting under the chairmanship of MP Mohammad Raad in Haret Horeik. The bloc defended said law as able to ensure a fair popular representation and equity between Muslims and Christians. The bloc condemned and deplored the terrorist attack that hit Istanbul and other regions in the world, presenting condolences to the families of the victims and wishing the injured people a speedy recovery. It thereby called for uniting all Lebanese efforts in favor of combating terror. =======
