Majlis committee’s decision will set back subsidy reforms: Iranian VP

TEHRAN, May 8 (MNA) – The vice president for parliamentary affairs said that the Majlis Integration Committee’s decision to reject the administration’s proposal to increase revenues from subsidy cuts will delay the implementation of the second stage of the subsidy reform plan. Mohammad Reza Mirtajoddini also said that if the implementation of the second stage of the plan is delayed, it will cause a lot of economic problems for the country.
