Majlis election compelled enemies to drop war rhetoric : Iranian commander

TEHRAN, March 10 (MNA) – Mohammad Pakpour, commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Ground Forces, said on Thursday that the high voter turnout in the March 2 parliamentary election compelled the enemies to back away from their war rhetoric on Iran. He said, “Before the election they were beating the drums of war, but we see that after the people’s participation in the election they (the enemies) started retreating.”
