Manager of Tbilisi theater festival invited to Iran’s Fajr festival

TEHRAN,Dec.27(MNA) -- Iran’s cultural attaché’s office in Georgia has invited Tbilisi International Festival of Theater General Manager Ekaterina Mazmishvili to attend the 30th Fajr International Theater Festival. Mazmishvili expressed her thanks for the invitation, calling Iran a country with great culture and civilization, the cultural attaché’s office announced in a press release on Tuesday. “Not only Iranian cinema but also Iranian plays have seen a great improvement over the past few years,” she said. She said that Georgian theater troupes warmly welcome Iranian performances and called on Iran to provide further opportunities for Georgian artists to enjoy Iranian theater in the future. The 31st Fajr International Theater Festival will be held in Tehran from January 15 to February 2.
