Massive demonstration in Sana'a against US-Arab coalition

Tehran, April 7, IRNA - Sana'a, the capital city of Yemen saw on Friday a large number of people taking to the streets in protest at the US-Arab coalition, Islamic Republic News Agency quoting Al-Masirah Network reported. The demonstrators condemned the crimes being perpetrated by the Saudi-led coalition and its mercenaries against Yemen as well as the last week's assault of a Sudanese military man against a Yemeni woman in Al Khawkhah district in Al Hudaydah governorate. The angry protestors called for fighting back the Saudi aggressors and their mercenaries until full liberation of Yemen and for avenging their shameful crimes in Al Khawkhah city. Chanting slogans against the aggressors and their crimes against the Yemeni people, the demonstrators said they would never remain silent on such crimes. Yemeni media reported a few days ago that a Sudanese mercenary belonging to the US-Saudi coalition raped a Yemeni woman in Al Khawkhah city. Saudi Arabia and some of its allies launched a military aggression against Yemen in March 2016 by laying air, sea and land siege on the country in a bid to bring to power the deposed president Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi. The military aggressions have had no achievements for Riyadh and its allies and only led to devastations and homelessness of people in the impoverished Arab state. 1378/IRNA
