MCOT, TU jointly launch innovative communication program for 4.0 executives

BANGKOK, June 26 (TNA) - MCOT Public Company Limited (MCOT), a most established Thai media firm running two MCOT HD TV stations, MCOT Radio Networks and Thai News Agency, has agreed to work together with Thammasat University, Thailand's second oldest university, to launch the Innovative Communication Program (ICP) for "executives 4.0". MCOT President Kematat Paladesh told TNA on Tuesday that MCOT, through the MCOT ACADEMY, and TU, through the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication, will jointly launch the training program for new generations of executives in the country during August 1-December 7, 2018, with the application for the about three-month ICP opened from now until August 10. The MCOT president said the agreed ICP sets the starting point for the academic cooperation between MCOT and the leading Thai university, in which the strength of both sides will be integrated through the three-month course. According to the MCOT president, the three-month ICP is aimed to provide trainees with innovative communication knowledge and skills to be applicable for their academic, capacity building and potential development as executive 4.0 in the country. Besides, the ICP will pave the way for the MCOT ACADEMY, the co-developer of the three-month program, to be upgraded to become a more comprehensive and standard quality Thai media training institute. The MCOT president announced that MCOT also plans to work together with TU on human resource development from the downstream level, or from TU students, and on research projects in the future. Trainees for the ICP are, meanwhile, required to attend the three-month course on Fridays, 14 times, and to each pay a 80,000 baht-enrollment fee, with more information to be available on the [www.icpmcot.com] website, or at E-mail:icpmcot@gmail.com, or at Tel. 662-201-6000 ext 6710.
