Mesri appointed Majlis Presiding Board spokesman

TEHRAN, June 12 (MNA) – Iranian MP Abdolreza Mesri from the Kermanshah constituency has been appointed as spokesman of the Majlis Presiding Board, MP Mohammad Dehqan told the Mehr News Agency on Monday. Mesri had formerly served as welfare and social security minister and Iran’s ambassador to Venezuela. The new Iranian parliament opened on May 27 and newly-elected MPs elected members of the Majlis Presiding Board on May 28.
