Minister M.Enkhsaikhan meets US Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Mongolia M.Enkhsaikhan Friday met Ms Piper Anne Wind Campbell, the US Ambassador to Mongolia. The Minister highlighted his duties and then discussed with the Ambassador a tender of selecting an investor for the Tavan tolgoi coal deposit and on negotiations. Some US companies, who attended here tenders, have been disappointed with their results, then Ambassador said. To this, the Minister said Mongolia always will be open and thankful to the US investors and admitted that Mongolia made some mistakes due to a lack of experience in mega projects. He added that Mongolia will maintain principles of international standards, transparency and justice when implementing projects.
