MONGOLIA AND PHILIPPINES TO INTENSIFY COOPERATION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On July 20, the second policy consultative meeting of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Republic of Philippines ran in Ulaanbaatar, chaired by the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia N.Oyundari and the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Philippines Ms Laura Del Rosario. The sides mutually reassured their interest to intensify the bilateral relations in all levels, and exchanged opinions on boosting the cooperation in economy, investments, safety, industry, agriculture, education, sports and tourism, and in promoting the interaction between the two countries’ private sectors, and touched upon regional issues of mutual interest. The sides agreed to forward the documents, being in ta phase of negotiations, such as the agreement on mutual assistance on criminal cases, which aims to strengthen the legal cooperation, also a program on cultural cooperation, and a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in social welfare.
