Mongolia and Serbia celebrate 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The commemoration of the historic anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relaitons with the Republic of Serbia took place on November 24 at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Foreign Minister, Mr Ts.Munkh-Orgil and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Serbia, Mr Milan Bacevic gave the opening remarks. FM Ts.Munkh-Orgil noted in his speech that Mongolia attaches a great importance to the relations with Serbia and extended gratitude for the Serbia’s contribution to expanding the people-to-people ties through providing scholarships to Mongolian students to study in Serbia. Ambassador Milan Bacevic underlined Serbia is interested in enriching bilateral relations with new contents, while mentioning that two countries have been maintaining the long-standing friendship yet in the course of social and economic turning points. Present were heads of permanent representative offices of international organizations, officials of ministries and government agencies, and the representatives of companies with business connections with Serbia. In the margin of the event, Minister Ts.Munkh-Orgil and Ambassador Milan Bacevic held a bilateral meeting.
