MONGOLIA ESTABLISHES DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS WITH REPUBLIC OF UGANDA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia established diplomatic relations with the Republic of Uganda on November 20 in New-York, the USA. It took place in frames of Mongolia's aim to establish such ties with all member-countries of the UN. The sides have agreed to boost and strengthen the bilateral friendly relations and cooperation as a key guide and to adhere to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, the UN Charter, and international legal principles and standards. The official joint statement on the diplomatic relations was inked by the Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the UN and Ambassador O.Och and by the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Uganda to the UN and Ambassador Richard Nduuhura. After this, the statement was registered in the UN. The two countries will now assist each other in frames of bilateral and international organizations, run a fruitful cooperation, share experiences and collaborate in the mining sector, and, being both the land-locked countries, protect interests of such states.
