MONGOLIA-JAPAN CONSULTATIVE MEETING RUNS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ “Politico-Military Meeting/PM Meeting” consultative meeting was held Thursday in Ulaanbaatar between the Mongolia’s and Japan’s bodies of foreign, defense and security affairs. It was co-chaired by Ch.Bayarmonkh, director of the Asia-Pacific Department of the Mongolia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and his counterpart of Japan J.Ihara. The sides exchanged views and information on the Mongolia-Japan relations and cooperation and Asia-Pacific issues. This consultative meeting is being held since 2013 within the aim of fortifying the bilateral strategic partnership. This year’s meeting brought together officials from the countries’ National Security Councils and the Defense Ministries.
