MONGOLIA-RUSSIA CONSULTATIVE MEETING RUNS IN MOSCOW

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A consultative meeting between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and Russian Federation (RF) was held Thursday in Moscow, Russia, at a level of Vice Ministers. The meeting was co-chaired by Mr D.Gankhuyag, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, and by his Russian counterpart Mr I.V.Morgulov. The parties discussed an implementation of issues considered at the previous consultation and realization of plans of the inter-Ministry cooperation. Urgent works to be done in the nearest future were considered as well. The Vice Ministers also exchanged views on co-organizing high-level visits, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Victory in Khalkh River Battle, preparing next intergovernmental commission meeting and a regular meeting of the sub-commission for the regional and border cooperation, also the bilateral and regional cooperation matters. Present at the consultative meeting were Sh.Altangerel, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Russia; T.Togsbilguun, the director of the Neighbour Countries’ Department of Mongolia's Foreign Ministry, and his adviser A.Batsaikhan; also A.B.Kulik, the director of the 1st Asian Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs; R.I.Zhuravlev, the chairman of the Ministry’s section on Mongolian affairs; and R.R.Rakshaev, a general consultant.
