Mongolian aimag is to cooperate with Japanese prefecture

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Head officials of Khovsgol province will visit Niigata prefecture, Japan to sign a cooperation memorandum early this month. As the aimag vice governor Ochirkhuyag said September 30, the sides intend to co-implement student exchange and nature conservancy programs, and schedule a direct Niigata-Khovsgol flight. A further cooperation will include a staff exchange program and qualification trainings, he reported. The province has been paying particular attention to its foreign relations, and believes a cooperation with Niigata will expand these ties, Ochirkhuyag added.
