Mongolian ambassador presents credentials to Governor General of Canada

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Canada R.Altangerel Monday presented credentials to the Governor General of Canada Mr David Johnston. During the credential presenting, the Mongolian Ambassador conveyed Mr Johnston a warm greeting from Ts.Elbegdorj, the President of Mongolia, and said he is glad to take this office while partnership ties between Mongolia and Canada have been expanded and bilateral politics and economy have been activated. He also promised to put great efforts for further effective cooperation and friendly relations between the two countries. In turn, Mr Johnston congratulated the Ambassador for being appointed in this new mission, and wished him a success, before recalling his first state visit to Mongolia in 2013 and meetings with the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj and other officials. Present at the ceremony were Canadian Senator and Chair of the Canada-Mongolia Friendship Group Mr Joseph A.Day, staffers of the Embassy and representatives of Canada-based Mongolians.
