Mongolian diplomat chairs CTBTO working group meeting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Mr G.Batjargal has chaired the 44th meeting of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization’s (CTBTO) working group on budget, finance, management, human resources and external relations affairs. The held in Vienna meeting has discussed and then approved the 2014 programme, draft budget of the organization, recommendations from advisory groups, the budgetary transmission of this year, schedule of meetings for next year and agendas. The CTBTO Executive Secretary Mr Lassina Zerbo addressed the meeting, congratulating Guinea-Bissau and Iraq on ratifying the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty, and noted about successful running of the 8th conference for discussing the #14 clause of this treaty.
