MONGOLIANS PARTICIPATE IN GLOBAL PEACE CONVENTION

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Mongolian delegation led by Mr G.Ganbat, a head of the "World Peace Festival" NGO, has taken part in the Global Peace Convention 2013. It ran December 4-8 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Our delegation comprised 23 people such as B.Dashzeveg, an international journalist and columnist; delegates of Mongolian small and middle producers and Mongolian National Public Television. Our delegation delivered a report titled "Women’s participation in economy", visited Singapore where they were received by Ms B.Delgermaa, the Ambassador of Mongolia to Singapore. At their meeting they asked the Ambassador to help create ties between Mongolian and Singaporean businessmen. Global Peace Festival Foundation’s annual Global Peace Convention is a preeminent, world-level platform to share best practices and develop collaborative strategies in areas of education, health care, environmental sustainability, community-driven development, and conflict resolution, guided by a vision of One Family under God. The Global Peace Convention advances innovative responses to the challenges of conflict and underdevelopment by drawing upon the expertise of government, faith-based, and civil society partners, and by involving stakeholders from affected regions. Grounded in a comprehensive, values-based approach that recognizes the fundamental rights as well as responsibilities of all people, the Global Peace Convention presents a vision for peace and social progress that reflects the highest human aspirations.
