MP: Tehran, Center For Diplomatic Consultations Today

Farouj, Khorassan-e Razavi Prov, Feb 12, IRNA – Thanks to wise management of Supreme Leader and efforts made by government, Tehran has turned into a center for diplomatic consultations today, a member of Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission said Tuesday. “Ill-wishers of the country and those who wished that the Islamic Iran would be segregated see that their hatched plots are dismantled today and feel humiliated,” said Hadi Shoushtari, addressing ralliers in Farouj on 35th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution’s victory. He added that even those who criticize the Islamic Republic of Iran and are in the opposite front confess today that the country has achieved success in various fields. “The young and the teen aged citizens today are the capitals for our society’s future and by increasing their political insight they should try to ensure the continuity and progress of the Islamic Revolution,” he said. Shoushtari said that the most important achievement of the late Imam Khomeini (P) is the holy political system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, arguing that from its republican aspect of the view this system values public participation and attaches top priority to the people’s votes. “From the contextual point of the view, too, the Islamic rules and regulations are in effect in the system’s whole aspects and foundations,” he added. Referring to the achievements of the Islamic system, he said that they are many in various fields and in accordance with the 2025 Perspective Document of the country, which has been approved by the Supreme Leader, within the next 12 years Iran must rank among the advanced world countries. That is while masses of people from all walks of life kicked off nationwide rallies on Tuesday to mark the 35th victory anniversary of Islamic revolution in Iran. The Iranian nation irrespective of their ethnical affiliations came to the scene once again this year to renew their allegiance with the aspirations of the Islamic Revolution and its late founder, Imam Khomeini (P), on the 35th anniversary of its victory. The Iranians’ presence this year was much more remarkable in terms of number and attendance compared to that in the previous years. Hundreds of domestic and foreign reporters covered the huge nationwide presence of the Iranians in support of their Islamic revolution./end
