NAMBC holds its regular meeting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ An annual general meeting of the North America-Mongolia Business Council (NAMBC) ran this April 20-22 in Washington DC, the USA. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the USA Mr B.Altangerel congratulated the gathered on the 25th anniversary of the NAMBC. He underlined that the NAMBC is the very first business organization that connected Mongolia to North America and that has been significantly contributing to Mongolia’s external trade and to attracting investments. The Ambassador also highlighted Mongolia's nowadays social and economical life, noting about ongoing measures for overcoming the current economic difficulties and the economic ties between Mongolia and the USA, and emphasized an importance of the NAMBC’s role in them. Present at the meeting were some 80 delegates such as Mr R.Altangerel, the Ambassador of Mongolia to Canada; Ms Piper Anne Wind Campbell, the US Ambassador to Mongolia; Mr Jalsa Urubshurow, Yu.Tero, co-founders the NAMBC; former Ambassadors of the USA to Mongolia; officials from the State Department, the Commercial Department and the private sector.
