New Thai ambassador to Iran meets Iranian FM

TEHRAN, May 3 (MNA) - Thailand’s new ambassador to Iran met with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi late on Tuesday and submitted a copy of his credentials to him. During the meeting, Salehi expressed hope that the relations between the two countries would increase in the future. The Thai ambassador conveyed the greetings of Thailand’s Foreign Minister Surapong Tovichakchaikul to Salehi and said that his country is keen to expand ties with Tehran.
