NLA unveils King’s Theories Book
BANGKOK, Dec 8 (TNA) - The National Legislative Assembly (NLA) has unveiled the King’s Theories Book, compiling the law related to the royally initiated development project of King Rama IX.
NLA Vice President Surachai Liengboonlertchai told a press conference about the launching of the book, called King’s Theories: World Leader for Sustainable Development.
He said the book compiled laws and revision of the laws, supporting implementation of King Bhumibol’s development projects.
The book features 13 chapters including water resource, forest resource, soil resource, farming, public health, social welfare, job creation, education, transportation, communication, environment, climate change, innovation and sufficiency economy philosophy.
The NLA will give 20,000 books to government offices, public libraries, educational institutes and related agencies across the country in order to promote learning of the late King’s theories and to continue the royally initiated projects for sustainable development.
