Official: Expansion of Tehran-Algiers cooperation to boost convergence in Islamic Ummah

Tehran, Dec 13, IRNA – Head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) Abuzar Ebrahimi Torkaman said the expansion and deepening of cultural and artistic relations between Iran and Algeria will lead to solidarity and convergence within the Islamic Ummah. He made the remarks in the opening of Algeria’s cultural week in Tehran on Tuesday. Highlighting the common points the two nations share, he said this cultural event was a big step towards expanding all-out relations especially in cultural areas.
