OSCE to continue to support Government of Kyrgyzstan in implementation of priority tasks

Bishkek, Sept. 25, 2019. / Kabar /. On the sidelines of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, a meeting was held in New York between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov and OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. At the meeting the sides noted with satisfaction the progress achieved in cooperation over the 20 years of the OSCE presence in the Kyrgyz Republic in three dimensions of security - military-political, economic-environmental and humanitarian. Aidarbekov noted the importance of continuing active cooperation with the OSCE in order to help ensure national and regional security. The sides discussed in detail the issues of further cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the OSCE and expressed their intention to strengthen cooperation. The OSCE will continue to support the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in the implementation of priority tasks within the framework of national strategic documents for the country's development.
