Our ambassador presents credentials

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Albania Sh.Odonbaatar presented the credentials to Mr Bujar Nishani, the President of this country on March 6. After the ceremony, the President received Mr Odonbaatar. The latter passed him a greeting from the leader of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj and spoke about the Mongolian socio-economic situation, investments environment, projects and programs carried out in our country, and noted that the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations, establishment between Mongolia and Albania, is to be marked this year. The Ambassador also said the two countries have many opportunities to cooperate in trade, economics, culture, education, sciences and tourism spheres, "and I am ready to put all effort to expand them". In response, Mr Nishani expressed a willingness to intensify the collaboration between our countries and pledged to give a comprehensive support to the Ambassador. After this, Mr Odonbaatar met with Mr Ilir Meta, the Speaker of the parliament, Mr Sokol Dervishaj, the Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister, and Mr Rezar Bregu, a director of the department for the USA, Atlantic, Asia and Africa of the Ministry. The sides had talks on some proposals to boost bilateral cooperation, to develop inter-parliamentary cooperation, to establish a cooperation memorandum between the Foreign Affairs Ministries, to run political consultation and make agreement on visa easing. Furthermore, the sides touched upon the issues of cultural activities to run in frames of the diplomatic relations establishment.
