OUR FM MEETS VICE PRESIDENT OF CUBA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In a scope of his official visit to Cuba, Mongolia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs L.Purevsuren was received on Monday by Mr Ulises Rosales del Toro, the Vice President of Cuba’s Council of Ministers, in Havana. The FM thanked the Vice President for the audience and asked him to pass Mongolian President's greetings to Mr Raal Modesto Castro Ruz, the President of the Council of Ministers. He noted that the Mongolia-Cuba traditional friendly relations have been based on mutual understanding and friendship between peoples, "their ties play a vital role in the bilateral relations". He said our countries can enrich their ties with economic contents, expand the cooperation in tourism sphere, and exchange experiences in some areas. In response, Mr Ulises noted about the 55th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic relations marked this year, and underlined an importance of enhancing the traditional friendly relations and cooperation. Mr Purevsuren affirmed that the President of Mongolia has invited his Cuban counterpart to Mongolia.
