Pakistan Attaches Hopes To PM Visit To Iran: Foreign Ministry

Islamabad, May 10, IRNA – Pakistan says it attaches high hopes to the visit of Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, to Iran.
“We are looking forward to his visit, which we hope will be a constructive visit,” Foreign Office spokesperson Tasnim Aslam in her weekly briefing in Islamabad on the Prime Ministerˈs scheduled visit to Tehran.
She said Pakistan-Iran gas pipeline project is still on cards and will be part of the PMˈs agenda of discussions with Iranian leadership. She said both the countries need to find out ways for making the project feasible.
Reports say that the Prime Minister is likely to pay the visit on May 11-12. It would be his first official visit to Iran since he assumed office in June last year./end
