Pakistani Analyst Blames US For Dividing Ummah

Islamabad, May 20, IRNA – A senior Pakistani analyst on Saturday blamed US for hatching a conspiracy to create misunderstandings among Muslim Ummah. Talking to IRNA, Orya Maqbool Jan said there is no other view to that the US is behind the plot of planned union of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Thousands of people in Tehran have rallied in the streets of the city to protest against the suppression of people's uprising in Bahrain and the plot to unite Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. They were carrying slogans against Bahrain and Saudi rulers as well as USA and the Zionist regime. The protestors supported Bahrain popular uprising and condemned violent suppression of people and cruel behavior of officers of Al-Khalifa and Al-Saud in Bahrain. Orya Maqbool Jan expressing his views said that will of the Bahraini people must be respected. “King is nobody to decide the fate of Bahraini people,” he viewed. He pointed out that the only way out of the existing problems is to respond to the legitimate demands of the Bahraini people. The analyst went on to say that US and Israel have been conspiring to divide Muslims by creating differences. “They want to turn the majority of Bahraini people into minority by uniting them with Saudi Arabia,” believed the intellectual. He was if the view that US and Israel want to punish Bahraini people for resisting against pro-American ruler. Orya Maqbool Jan said that such approach by Americans could trigger massive anti-American movement in Muslim countries. The analyst added that ongoing developments in Middle East are the beginning of a "new era" in the region. He also called for forging unity among Muslim world to encounter conspiracies against Islam.
