Pakistani Fmr. Senator Condemns US Anti-Iran Propaganda
Islamabad, Feb 1, IRNA – Pakistani former Senator and religious leader on Tuesday said that the arrest of the Iranian scientist in US is part of a negative propaganda campaign against the Islamic Republic.
Talking to IRNA Hafiz Hussian Ahmad said that the US, under a secret plan, wants to capture the resources of Muslim countries.
“They are trying to divide the Muslim Ummah and have been creating problems for Iran, Pakistan Afghanistan, Palestine and Bosnia,” he noted.
Seyed Mojtaba Atarodi, 54, a microchip expert and assistant professor at Tehran's prestigious Sharif University was arrested in the US. The US claimed that the scientist was violating US export laws.
Hafiz Hussian Ahmad was of the view that US is against all those Islamic countries which are not accepting American hegemony.
He said that after the collapse of Soviet Union, the United States has plans to rule the whole world under a new world order. “They are trying to divide Muslim regions,” he pointed out.
The politician added that US is making every possible effort to weaken Iran and Pakistan but they will not succeed in accomplishing their evil designs.
Religious leader asked US to stop its nuclear scientists who are selling their formulas in different parts of the world.
“Iran has a right to defend itself and nobody can deny that,” he said.
Hafiz Hussian Ahmad expressing his opinion said that the system of communism had failed with the collapse of Soviet Union and now the capitalism is on the verge of collapse. “The economies of west especially US are in shambles,” former Senator added.
The politician went on to say now the world is looking towards Islamic system as a replacement to capitalism.
He said that US is trying to hide its embarrassment from its people and is leveling baseless allegations on Iran and other Muslim countries. He warned US of serious consequences of its aggressive policies.
Hafiz Hussian Ahmad said that Iran has a right to develop a nuclear program and that US pressure on the Islamic Republic in this regards is unacceptable./end
