Pakistani Political Party Chief Bashes Drone Attacks

Islamabad, Aug 12, IRNA – Chief of a major Pakistani political party has vowed to launch countrywide protests against US drone attacks in the tribal areas of Pakistan, local media reported Monday. Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) said. In order to root out terrorism, it is imperative that Pakistan pull out of US war on terror as soon as possible. Khan said PTI would unveil its anti-drone-attacks protest policy after by-polls. To a question regarding all parties conference (APC), he expressed serious concerns over the deteriorating law and order situation in Pakistan. An all parties conference will be of no use unless the government formulate an effective policy for it, he added./end
