Pakistani Senate chairman meets Ahmadinejad

TEHRAN,Aug.7(MNA) – The visiting Pakistani Senate Chairman Nayyar Hussain Bukhari held talks on Monday with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on bilateral ties and the latest developments in the region. During the meeting, Ahmadinejad said that the two countries should make efforts to make the Iran-Pakistan border the most active one in terms of the transit of goods. The Pakistani official emphasized the important status of Iran and Pakistan in the region.
