People reaffirm support for Islamic system: Iranian senior MP

TEHRAN,June 16(MNA)– People reaffirmed their support for the Islamic system and the Supreme Leader by turning out in large numbers in the presidential election on Friday, MP Mohammadreza Bahonar said on Saturday. “The people’s participation in the election can help distance the enemies from our borders,” the deputy Majlis speaker told the Mehr News Agency, calling on officials to be grateful to the people for their loyalty.
