PLEVNELIEV ENDS HIS VISIT

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia saw Bulgarian leader off on Wednesday after he completed the three-day state visit here. As we informed, the visit of the President of Bulgaria Mr Rosen A.Plevneliev coincided with the 65th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Bulgaria. The sides signed Memorandums of Understanding on cooperation in many sectors such as information technology, food and agriculture, infrastructure and education. Businessmen of the two countries discussed ways of cooperation at the “Mongolia-Bulgaria Business Forum” on Tuesday. The Mayor of Ulaanbaatar E.Bat-Uul and the Minister of Food and Agriculture R.Burmaa are to visit Bulgaria in the near future to implement the discussed cooperation, reflected in the MoUs. Bulgarian side said that related Ministers will pay visits to Mongolia. The two sides conclude that this state visit has become a "wake-up call" to the bilateral economic relations that were dormant for many years. Mr Plevneliev and accompanying him delegation departed from the “Chingis Khaan” international airport to visit Seoul of South Korea.
