PM designate says Speaker Berri keen on speeding up Cabinet formation

NNA – Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, welcomed, at Ain-el-Tineh on Friday, Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri, with whom he discussed latest developments pertaining to the government formation. "Speaker Berri is highly keen on speeding up the formation of the Cabinet and surmounting all hurdles. The climate is undoubtedly positive, and we will reach a happy end soon," Hariri told reporters following the meeting. In response to a question, Hariri indicated that President Michel Aoun was also determined to form the Cabinet.
