PM to meet journalists lesser

BANGKOK, Oct 17 (TNA) -- After meeting and answering questions from journalists almost every day, Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-ocha has decided to meet and answer questions from them lesser because of his workload, said government spokesman Maj Gen Sansern Kaewkamnerd. Gen Prayut has been answering questions from journalists at least once daily. Maj Gen Sansern said the prime minister found that several questions raised by journalists remained in conflict in the society, therefore, he decided to assign legal experts or spokesmen of the Government House to answer those questions on his behalf. The prime minister works extremely hard every day and he calls on responsible government officials to meet and followup the government works, said Maj Gen Sansern. It is still unknown how long the prime minister would let the legal experts and the government spokesman to talk to journalists on his behalf, he added. (TNA)
