PM MEETS LOCAL ADMINISTRATIONS ONLINE

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Premier told the province governors to transfer their budget spending to transparent accounts, at his online meeting on Thursday. He also advised them to summarize this year’s projects and to develop detailed work plans for 2014. At his last online meeting, the PM also had requested the governors to make 2014 tender information, open for the public. The Premier reminded the officials that quality of the public services, volume of the bureaucratic burdens and new jobs and changes in commodity prices will be the main criteria in his review for the governor’s 2013 work reports. He also mentioned that some provinces such as Bayan-Olgii, Khovd and Govi-Sumber have actively attended the online meeting within this year, while the northern provinces of Hovsgol and Orkhon have failed in that. The cooperation agreement between governors and the PM will be concluded early 2014.
