PM visits Kalasin

KALASIN, Dec 13 (TNA) - Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha takes a one-day trip to follow up progress in implementation of government’s policies in the northeastern province of Kalasin. Gen Prayut and cabinet members left Don Mueang Airport in Bangkok this morning to Roi Et Airport before taking a helicopter to Kalasin’s Kham Muang district. He traveled to Phrae-wa Silk Phu Thai Arts and Cultural Center to hand over agricultural machinery and water buffaloes and cattle (under the Royal Cattle and Buffaloes Bank project) to farmer representatives, and meet with the local people. In the afternoon, the Prime Minister is scheduled to visit upper Lam Payang reservoir in Khao Wong district to observe the operation of the reservoir and water management projects under the royal initiatives. He will also release fresh water fish breeds and plant White Meranti tree. He will, then, travel to Khao Wong Technical College to chair the meeting on Kalasin development strategies before he returns to Bangkok at 7 pm. (TNA)
