THE POLISH AWARDED POLAR STAR ORDER

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On Monday in Warsaw, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the Republic of Poland A.Ganbaatar granted the Mongolian Polar Star order to the Polish scientist Mr S.Shynkevich. A decree to do so has been issued by the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj. The Ambassador highlighted a contribution made by Mr S.Shynkevich to the in Mongol studies and the ethnic works. After this, Mr Shynkevich and the gathered for the ceremony officials talked about Mongolia and shared views on developing further the Mongol studies in Poland. Present at the event were administration of the Department of Asia-Pacific region of the Polish Foreign Affairs Ministry, representation of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnicity of Poland Academy of Sciences and of Department of Central Asia Study of University of Warsaw.
