President of Montenegro visits Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque

ABU DHABI, 16th January, 2017 (WAM)--As part of his tour of the UAE, Filip Vujanovic, President of the Republic of Montenegro and his accompanying delegation, visited on Saturday the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi. He paid his respects at the tomb of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, where he acknowledged his legacy and wise approach that had contributed to the promotion of a culture of tolerance, coexistence and peace among the different peoples of the world. Accompanied by Yousef Al Obaidly, Director-General of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre, the guests toured the mosque corridors, where they were briefed on the aesthetics of the Islamic architecture, as seen in all corners of the great edifice. At the conclusion of the visit, the Director-General of the Centre presented a copy of the book "Spaces of Light" to the President of Montenegro.
