President pays working visit to Liechtenstein

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj paid a working visit to the Principality of Liechtenstein on January 19-21, 2014. In frames of the visit, the President met with His Highness Hans-Adam II, Prince of Liechtenstein; Alois Philipp Maria, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein; Mr Adrian Hasler, the Prime Minister; and Ms Aurelia Frick, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Education, and Culture. Every of these meeting were devoted to matters of the Mongolia-Liechtenstein relations and cooperation. Our relations are based on common values such as legal governance and human rights and others, there are no small or big values, the parties stressed. The President invited His Highness Hans-Adam II, Prince of Liechtenstein, and Alois Philipp Maria, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, to Mongolia. Liechtenstein is one of the biggest financial and banking centers in Europe, they make up 25 percent of the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP), this country is also leading in the world by its developmental research works, the sides noted. This country makes a majority of decisions on a basis of opinion polls under a principle of direct democracy, and this is similar to one of the concepts of the President's program on "transferring Big state to the Smart", they stressed. They also agreed to collaborate in improving law, finance and governance matters.
