President takes part Mongolia-Vietnam business forum

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On Friday, the leader of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj participated in the Mongolia-Vietnam business forum in Ho Chi Minh city, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Present at the event were the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Vietnam D.Enkhbat, the Deputy Mayor of the city and others. The President noted that he is "happy to visit Vietnam for the first time and to participate in Ho Chi Minh City administration and business representatives' conference" and added that ties between our countries, established by our elder generations, remain unattained. The he explained why the business people must choose Mongolia. Mongolia borders with two big markets, so a mutual cooperation is convenient. Mongolia tries to make more friendly an environment for foreign investors. "Through our newly adopted investment law, we guarantee the stability of businesses. I am confident that this law will be carried out successfully because two third of the MPs were present to amend this law". "For us, this is one of the important issues which meets the national interest by cooperating with the Third neighbor and stabilizing investments. We see Vietnam as our Third neighbor. As of 2011, Mongolia's economy was the fastest growing economy in the world. Mongolia is striving to keep this growth. We want to import pharmaceutical and food products, particularly seafood. "We are interested in bringing a work force from Vietnam. Mongolia has a huge territory with over 50 million heads of livestock. So we are able to export high quality meat products to Vietnam. "Our country has tremendous amount of natural resources in petroleum and coal. Leaders of the government of Vietnam, who I have met with, said they will support business representatives to cooperate in mining and other sectors, so business people have enough support from the both sides. "Our country is eager to reach Vietnam's port through China's railroad. I hope that our business representatives will establish a reliable partnership with their Vietnam counterparts. "Tourism sector can be boosted actively. Lifestyle of the two countries is totally different so it will attract many tourists. I invite you all to Mongolia. The Ambassador Mr.Enkhbat promised me to tackle the issues concerning visa and other documents. I believe that this business forum will give a strong impetus to intensifying of the bilateral business collaboration." The same day, the President Ts.Elbegdorj paid a tribute to the Vietnam's War Memorial and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Hanoi city.
