Putin’s Spokesman: Russian President To Visit Iran Soon

Moscow, Sept 14, IRNA -- Russian Vladimir Putin is slated to pay a visit to Iran in the near future, an official disclosed on Friday. “Vladimir Putin has been invited to Iran and he will surely pay a visit to Tehran in as soon as possible,” President Putin’s Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. The Iranian and Russian president met on Friday on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in the Kyrgyz capital of Bishkek. President Rohani and President Putin discussed issues of mutual interest during their meeting in the Kyrgyz capital./end
