Qatar to host Iran cultural week

TEHRAN, Apr. 06 (MNA) – Iran's cultural week is scheduled to open in Qatar on Thursday April 6 undertaken by the Iranian cultural attaché in the peninsular Arab country. The Iranian cultural week will kick off in Qatar within the framework of four sections including workshop and exhibition of Iranian hand-woven carpets, handicrafts, wood carving workshop and exhibition as well as festival of traditional Iranian foods as quoted by the public relations of Islamic Culture and Communications Organization (ICCO). Iranian cultural attaché has contributed to the holding of the cultural event in Qatar while the Iranian artist Mohammad Reza Tavabi will supervise the training section for carpet weaving. Meanwhile, the festival of traditional dishes pertaining to various regions of Iran will take advantage of nationals residing in Qatar and the exhibition of handcrafts will last for five days hosting visitors interested in Iranian culture.
