Rafsanjani meets Rohani, hails president-elect’s moderate approach

TEHRAN,June 23(MNA) – Iran`s Expediency Council Chairman Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani held a meeting with Iran’s President-elect Hassan Rohani in Tehran on Saturday and said that the moderate attitude of the new administration can help resolve domestic problems and lead the country toward a constructive interaction with the world. Rohani also held a separate meeting with former first vice president Mohammad Reza Aref on the same day, during which Aref announced his preparedness to cooperate with Rohani’s government.
