R.Amarjargal MP attends Institute Fund Summit 2014 Asia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A former Prime Minister R.Amarjargal MP delivered a keynote speech at the Institute Fund Summit 2014 Asia held April 22-23 at the Peninsula Hotel in Hong Kong. As a honored guest at the event, Mr Amarjargal took part in discussions concerning investment opportunities and challenges, and also made the closing remarks at the summit. He informed that Mongolian parliament has passed some vital legal documents including the new law on investment, the laws on investment fund and on securities, and then urged the biggest investors at the summit to make investments to Mongolia. The participants considered at the summit investment opportunities and challenges for Asia, studying direct investments, working out policies and protecting investments as well as investors. Co-founded by Michael Maduell and Carl Linaburg, the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute (SWI) has been created to provide information, intelligence, and analysis on sovereign wealth funds, public pensions, central banks, superannuation funds and other long-term public investors. In addition, the institute was developed to provide unbiased information and intelligence to an opaque market. They host global forums and summits for asset owners such as sovereign wealth funds, pensions, superannuation funds and central banks. It is a global organization designed to study sovereign wealth funds and other long-term governmental investors in the areas of investing, asset allocation, risk, governance, economics, policy, trade, and other relevant issues.
