Representatives of European Azerbaijanis Congress meet with members of European Parliament

Baku, June 8, AZERTAC Representatives of the European Azerbaijanis Congress have met with members of the European Parliament as part of the events organized in the European countries on the occasion of the centennial of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic, said president of the Congress Sahil Gasimov. The Congress representavises first met with a member of the European Parliament from Bulgaria Ilhan Kucuk who said diaspora organizations of each country should keep in close touch with the European Parliament and demand explanation for biased and unfair decisions against their countries. The Congress representatives then met with a member of the European Parliament from Latvia Iveta Grigule and they focused on the issues of cooperation with international organizations in Europe. The president of the European Azerbaijanis Congress and members of its board then attended an official reception on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic at the invitation of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Belgium and Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Head of the Mission to the European Union Fuad Isgandarov.
