RF, Belarus, Kazakhstan to finalise Eurasian union treaty in late May

MOSCOW, April 3 (Itar-Tass) - A troika summit bringing together the leaders of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan will finalise the Eurasian Union Treaty in late May, visiting Kazakh Foreign Minister Yerlan Idrisov said, opening talks with Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in the Russian capital on Thursday. “This year will be remarkable as we are preparing to sign a treaty on Eurasian union [Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan] and set to do this. A very important meeting is expected to take place in Minsk in late April, we intend to finalise formal work on this document [the Eurasian Union Treaty] in Astana [Kazakhstan’s capital] in late May,” Idrisov said.
